Andrew, Caitlin and Sherman live in the East Village, New York. Villagers really know their cocktails and appreciate good ingredients. They reluctantly provided us with two recipes they enjoy from time to time.

	caitlin's berry drink
You can splash the top with a little club soda or champagne if you want a little fizz!	1 liter vodka 1 bag frozen mixed berries cranberry juice Take one liter of good quality vodka. They suggest Ciroc, because it is made with grapes harvested after the frost, and is complimented well by berries. Mix the vodka with a bag of frozen mixed berries. Soak for at least eight hours at room temperature. Pour over ice in a low ball glass about 2/3 full and fill the rest with cranberry juice.

 

	andrew's refresher
	Andrew's suggestion for a summer (or any time) refresher... 2 parts gin 1 part Lillet splash of lemon or orange juice Shake and serve up with a twist of corresponding citrus.
